One of my favourite garments to knit for Sasha is a sweater dress.
Sweater dresses are so pretty and can be teamed with hand-knit tights or sewn leggings.
I love adding touches like a coordinating hat created from the same yarn as the dress.
Sweater dresses are fun with the addition of simple stripes in two or three colour combinations. Interest can also be added with a split hem.
Stripes can be created by the yarn using a self-patterning sock yarn or they can be used to create a pretty yoke.
Dresses can feature textures and cables and give a bigger area to play with.
And, sweater dresses look so sweet with a front pocket! This is one of my personal favourites.
